MSW, LCSWA
Hi! I'm Tracey Walton, MSW, LCSWA. I am passionate about supporting children ages 2–10 as they navigate big feelings, develop new skills, and grow in confidence. I believe every child deserves a safe and nurturing space to express themselves, process challenges, and discover their strengths. My goal is to create a warm, child-centered environment where healing and growth can take place through play.
I love helping children work through emotional and behavioral challenges and supporting families as they build connection and resilience. My approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and respect for each child’s unique journey, and I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both children and their caregivers.
I specialize in child-centered play therapy and use creative, expressive techniques to help children process their emotions and develop healthy coping skills. I focus on emotional regulation, social skills, behavioral challenges, family transitions, and strengthening parent-child relationships.

I earned my Master of Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I also hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from East Carolina University. My experience includes working with children and adolescents in schools, group settings, and nonprofit organizations.
