Alyssa German
MSW, LCSWA
Hi! I'm Alyssa German, MSW, LCSWA. I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they work through challenges, discover their strengths, and build confidence. I believe every client deserves a safe and encouraging space to process emotions, heal from difficult experiences, and grow into their best selves. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel understood and supported.
I enjoy helping young people navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem struggles, and trauma. I also have a special passion for supporting women experiencing postpartum anxiety, depression, and psychosis, offering compassionate care during this important season of life.
I take a strengths-based approach and primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating play therapy techniques to engage children in meaningful ways. I provide Christian counseling upon request and offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to meet clients where they are.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Marshall University. My background includes working in school systems, emergency shelter care, and trauma-informed environments, giving me a broad range of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families.
