Cassie Holtzapple
MSW, LCSWA

Hi! I’m Cassie Holtzapple, MSW, LCSWA. I am passionate about helping kids (8+) and teens feel supported, understood, and empowered. I believe therapy should be a safe space where children and their families can work together to overcome challenges, build resilience, and create healthy ways to connect.

I work with children and adolescents ages 8–18, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral concerns, trauma, communication struggles, and life transitions. My goal is to help young people feel more confident in themselves and strengthen their relationships with others, all while making therapy a welcoming and collaborative process.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and play therapy interventions to support emotional growth and well-being. I’m passionate about working alongside children and their families to develop practical tools for coping and to foster a nurturing, connected home environment.

I received my Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. I have experience working as a school-based mental health therapist with Clarvida, where I supported children in both their emotional and academic success.

We believe that therapy for children and proper support for their caregivers creates an environment for parenting to feel like it matters (because it really does).
