Mackenzie Quinton
MSW, LCSW
Hi! My name is Mackenzie Quinton, MSW, LCSW. I am passionate about helping children (8+), teens, and families find hope, healing, and connection. I believe every child and parent deserves a safe, supportive space to work through challenges, strengthen relationships, and discover new ways to thrive together. My goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where growth and healing can take place.
I especially enjoy working with elementary and middle school-aged children and their families, helping them navigate anxiety, school avoidance, family conflict, life transitions, and the unique challenges faced by adoptees. I am committed to supporting parents as they learn new ways to connect with and support their children through difficult seasons.
I take a trauma-informed, individualized approach to therapy, using a combination of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Directive Play Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. I have a special passion for supporting adoptees and families navigating attachment concerns, including those with foster care, overseas, private, and kinship adoption stories.

I earned my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Psychology degrees from Brigham Young University. My background includes working with children, teens, and parents in a variety of settings, with a focus on trauma-informed care. To better serve busy families, I offer both daytime and limited evening appointments.
